It's a properly muddy obstacle course for all the family to join in!

Clarty Bairns and the NECCR Charity

Challenge Northumberland and the Clarty Bairns activity are proud to be partnering North of England Children’s Cancer Research and would encourage those interested in raising money through this event to get in touch with this great charity ... Neville Duncan, CEO Challenge Northumberland.

About the North of England Children’s Cancer Research fund
The North East children’s charity was formed in 1979 by a small group of parents whose lives had been changed forever by childhood cancer. Some parents had tragically lost children to the disease, whilst others were just so grateful that their children had overcome their battle with it.

Over the past 30 years the NECCR has helped fund research that has established the North East as one of the world leaders in the research of childhood cancer. To date the charity has raised over £30 million but needs help to continue this work and to help more children beat cancer and live long and happy lives.

How can you help NECCR? You can get involved by making a donation, fundraising for the charity or by attending the Clarty Bairns event and raising money through sponsorship for getting properly muddy!
